On Tuesday, August 14th, Avita Community Partners Chief Clinical Officer, Lori Holbrook, and Clinical Team Lead, Francesca Smith, taught an informative class at Union General Hospital on the signs and symptoms of common mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia. The class also covered signs and symptoms of substance use disorders such as Alcohol, Amphetamine, and Opioids. It addressed how the community can work together to overcome these issues and it explained who Avita Community Partners are, who they serve and what services they provide.
